Another product from the Asus Xonar range, this high quality sound card will provide you with great audio whether you are listening to music, playing games, or watching movies. With a very simple installation process, 7.1 surround sound capabilities and an optical out connection, this is one model that will not disappoint. There are, however, some aspects which could be improved. The manual is not as informative as it should be and beginners may need to browse the Internet for more information. Additionally, the set up for 7.1 surround sound is not intuitive and may confuse some users. Apart from these small flaws, the Asus Xonar D1 is still an excellent purchase for lovers of great audio.
