Best All Natural Creamy Peanut Butters
Anything natural is considerably healthier and peanut butter is certainly no different. When buying peanut butters, the more "raw" the variety, the healthier the contents. Natural or raw peanut butter retains the nutrients found in the skin of peanuts. Generally, the skin is what protects the nut and is what serves to protect the contents (this is the same for fruit). Conversely, highly processed peanut butters contain added fats (mostly trans fats) and many preservatives, which when poorly stored or badly prepared can cause illness -- the likes of which has been frequently publicized in the media.
