Best Budget Toner For Oily / Acne Skin

Toners, fresheners, tonic lotions and astringents are all essentially the same type of product. Sometimes, the terms are used interchangeably. In cosmetics, a toner refers to a wash designed to cleanse the skin and shrink pores. They tighten, or 'tone' tissue, reducing oil production and blemishes. They do tend to dry out skin, but used in between cleansing and moisturizing, they are an essential part of the skin care process for oily skin and preventing breakouts. A dermatologist office told me about a wonderful product that you wouldn't see on the shelves on the typical store beauty aisle. You have to ask the pharmacist if they have any or ask them to order it for you - but there's no prescription needed. It's called "Aqua Glycolic Toner" and costs $11.00 - $14.00 depending where you get it. You can also order from Amazon and drugstore.com. I love using it daily.
