Best Red Wine 1950
Celebrating 1950 can be incredibly satisfying - if you've got Bill Gates' checkbook. There is no ambiguity, this is a vintage that revolves around the growing region of Pomerol. Make no mistake, you could buy a car for less money than assembling the below group of wines, but you'd rather taste what Merlot can do when blessed by nature. Sadly, all the wines on this list belong on another short list - most counterfeited greats of the past 150 years.
