Best Red Wine 1979
1979 was a somewhat difficult vintage for most of the world, but there are a few wines worth drinking. This is and always has been a difficult wine to assess. It has all the makings of a superlative wine, but for some reason never quite fulfills that great potential. It never quite tastes as though it has reached maturity, but at age 30 one has to wonder how much further away... read full review
