Installation - there is no such.
Just open the antenna, then search for a device from your cell phone, then add it, then provide the pass code which is written in the Guide Book.
This is a standard procedure you have to do with any BlueTooth earpiece device. So no difference.
All you have to do is place the device anywhere you want.
I used it on my computer desk. Then I took it to the car and placed it on the sun visor. There is a magnetic clip provided which you can place on any side of the visor for you convenience.
The battery life is also great - I used it for 5 days straight now, and I work in the delivery industry and talk a lot in my car, and charged it for the first time yesterday.
Oh, and I charged it before the first use. Please charge this device after opening the box and before first use for better performance.
After the first charge it should last you 5 days! That's amazing.
Then you can charge it in the car with the provided car charger or take it home and use the provided home charger.
The sound quality is great. When I dial out the sound increases gradually so if you left it on max it doesn't scare you. You can adjust the volume at any time with the big "Volume+" and "Volume-" buttons on the device. Make sure the Call Volume of your phone is also on max if you need maximum volume.
I can hear anyone clearly, and they all said they hear me great.
I have a brand new 2008 Toyota Rav4 SUV and I purchased $1000 BlueTooth integrated device for it. The sound quality (even though coming from the car speakers) is very poor and people can barely hear me. This unit I purchased for only $50 from Buy.com and it performs better than my $1000 integrated car BlueTooth system. The BlueAnt 093750 White Supertooth Light has it's own speaker which is good enough to hear even in busy and noisy traffic. And I don't care to hear the sound off my car speakers because this way I can talk to someone and have my music still ON with a lower volume level!
I have also used other BlueTooth devices in the past and I can say that this is by far the Best one I have used.
I will highly recommend this device to anyone!

Substandard Snooty Product support = Buyer Beware, June 12, 2009
I ordered the Blue Ant X5i from Shopcell - an Amazon market place vendor. While the product was delivered promptly enough, alas - it wouldn't even switch on.

My first step was to call "BLUEANT" customer support (North America) . After a moderate wait I was able to get a live support rep. We went over diagnostics, but within the first minute of the call, his question was "How much did you pay for this product?"..When I answered $30 on Amazon.com - his response was " Must have been refurbished! - send it back to the seller!!"....When I mentioned the description says - brand new and it arrived in new packaging his answer didn't change.
At this point - it became pretty obvious that he'd lost all interest in the call and wanted to just get me off the phone...
Then I asked about their product warranty - I even have a product warranty card - he said, "call the seller first or return it to them!"....
What kind or condescending product support/warranty is this - product support has no business asking about product price...
I highly doubt their product warranty means anything to them or - or even if they will stand behind it.
Their product support and brand standards are probably just like their product - substandard and indifferent

The best .... so far., July 3, 2009
Very good value for the money. Have to be a little careful in placement so your voice is picked up by the microphone. Very easy to use. Great battery life, so far. I've had the Blue Ant for two months now, and am quite pleased. Have not had much luck with the "voice recognition"; so I keep my phone in a simple squeeze-type holder on the dashboard of my truck. I leave it open, and it is very easy to touch the necessary buttons to dial up numbers in my "contact" list. Overall: good product for the price. minimize

WOW this Blue Ant has really changed the way I drive. I NEVER talk on the cell phone in the truck unless I use my Blue Ant! Everyone tells me its very clear and I really like the small size. GOOD BUT NOT GREAT, September 18, 2008
I bought this speakerphone for my wife's car. It is not as
user friendly as the $29.99 VR3 VRBT300V that I bought for my
self. However, the VR3 was more difficult to pair to our 2
cell phones. That little microphone is not that convenient
to release when you try to push it. I just leave it out.

There was no problem pairing this with 2 Bluetooth phones.
The BlueAnt is very nice looking and seems quite sturdy.
Since their initial full charge, both phones have maintained
their charge. We simply from time to time plug them in while
we are driving and they seem to hold their charge. minimize
