Why it's a best pick:
This electric kettle is generally classic in form and shape but has been modified for better handling. Unlike the old kettles, its handle is along the side and not in the path of steam. It's also has the same handle as the old non-electric kettles, where you lift the lid with your other hand. It has a very wide base to increase surface contact for faster heating. It shuts off automatically, either when boiling starts or the water dries up. The base detaches when pouring and does not slip due to rubber supports underneath.
