Why it's best:
It's almost as though the Clarion CZ309 was designed to accommodate the iPod before anything else. The front panel offers both a USB and auxiliary input, either of which can be used to connect your iPod to this stereo. The controls on the panel can then be used to navigate through your iPod directly, which means you won't have to fumble with trying to find your iPod while driving. On top of that, the CZ309 can play MP3, WMA, and AAC files from a CD or a USB device, should you wish to do that. The CZ309 also comes with a remote control, to make it easier for you or your passengers to control the system when it is not within reach. The Clarion CZ309 bristles with usable features as opposed to bells and whistles, and the system's total compatibility with iPods only makes the deal sweeter.

Where to Buy

Manufacturer Description: With MP3/WMA/AAC support, direct iPod control, a front USB input, and a wealth of sound-shaping features, Clarion's CZ309 CD receiver is a powerful system to begin with. But with support for SAT radio, Bluetooth, OEM steering wheel remotes, and three sets of preamp outputs, it's a perfect bed for expansion.
