Handheld vacuums are often purchased to eliminate pet hair, and this one is perfect for the job. The Eureka 71B will restore your couch and other furniture to a fur-free state. It's much more convenient than lugging around a full-size vacuum and portable enough to carry around the house or outside to vacuum car upholstery. The removable hose makes it very versatile. An excellent handheld vacuum at an affordable price.

A beefy 5.5 amp motor provides more than enough suction for most jobs. It's bagless, and has a clear plastic dust bin so you can see when it needs emptying. It has a second motor for a revolving brush to help with tasks like removing pet hair. And it comes with handy attachments and a flexible hose for reaching into tight spaces. It has a little see-through flip-up gizmo designed to clean carpeted stairs, a task much better suited to a small but powerful unit like this rather than your canister or upright.
