Fluance SXHTB+ 5 Surround Speakers
Why it's a best pick:
This is the only set that doesn’t include a sub in the list, but the speaker set is still quite a steal at just under $300. At 38.8-inches tall, the front speakers are the largest on the list, and come with 1-inch silk-dome tweeters and .5-inch poly-coated woofers. At times the treble can be a bit intense, but that may please some listeners. The set does have some issues with dialogue in films, but they really shine with music. Without a sub included, of course the low end is missing, but since these are so cheap you can use that money you saved to get a decent sub.

Considering the cost, a fantastic deal!, June 08 2009
