Giant Glory 27.5

Expert Review

The Glory 27.5 is this company's top DH dog and it comes primed for action. The aluminum frame's down tube comes in a more rounded, smaller diameter shape for weight savings while retaining stiffness where it counts for a sublime ride. Piloted with a SRAM downhill-specific drive train and Avid hydraulic disc brakes, the Glory charges through the roughest stuff out there but its agility shines when it's time to play a little. It combines 8 inches of travel with its Maestro suspension and a super stiff front end for max confidence on even the sketchiest terrain. Expect your back account to shrink by the mid-$6,000 range for a build with cherry components, but a budget option is available for around half that price point.Rating: 4.25/5
