Gibson Les Paul Supreme 2015
The Gibson Les Paul Supreme 2015 has worked pretty hard to ensure that it lives up to its grandiose title. Firstly, the dual f-holes in the guitar’s mahogany body allow this thing to truly resonate with warmth and resonance that is usually associated with hollowbody instruments. The mahogany experience continues into the neck, too. And the guitar is easily adjustable thanks to its zero fret nut. This feature makes it easy to tweak your axe to fit the style and feel that you’re going after as a player.
Of course, a Les Paul is nothing without its humbucking pickups, and the Supreme 2015 doesn’t muck with that tradition here. A 492T pickup in the bridge allows for some real grit-and-growl, whereas the floating humbucker in the neck position is ideal for clean and pristine tones. The pearl inlays on the neck are absolutely gorgeous, but then again, the same could be said about the guitar’s finish, which is available in Seafoam Green or Heritage Cherry Sunburst Perimeter. In short, this thing looks dazzling and sounds even better, if such a thing were even possible. Finally, its new and improved hard shell case will keep this treasure safe from any of the perils of the outside world.
