Infinity Kappa Five 5-channel Amplifier
Aside from the sleek, handsome design, the Infinity Kappa Five is capable of generous performance. 4 of the 5 channels can be powered with 50 watts RMS at 4 ohms plus 200 watts RMS for the subwoofer at 4 ohms, with the output rising to 75 watts RMS at 4 ohms with 300 watts RMS to the subwoofer at 2 ohms. Bridged outputs will net 150 watts RMS at 2 ohms through 2 channels and 200 watts RMS to the subwoofer at 4 ohms. While these numbers pale in comparison to the rest in this company, this is still enough performance to make your music come alive through your speakers. Infinity equips the Kappa Five with adjustable high- and low-pass filters to eliminate frequencies that your speakers cannot handle, preserving sound quality in the process. The Thermal Protection technology is always on, ensuring that the components inside the chassis never overheat in order to maintain maximum reliability. The signal circuits are well-balanced and isolated, so the audio signals do not contain interference from the surroundings. This means that the Infinity Kappa Five can be used in high-interference systems, such as the stock stereo, giving you the most flexibility when setting everything up.
