J-B Weld PlasticWeld
This is a new plastic epoxy for me as I'm used to thinking of JB Weld as being the people for bonding metal parts together. However, they've got an epoxy putty designed specifically for use with plastics. As an epoxy putty, it's excellent for gap filing and projects where parts need to be strengthened. The putty gives you a 20 to 25 minute work time and is functionally cured in 2 to 3 hours, taking on a white color when set. The cured product can be drilled, sawed, carved, sanded and painted, making it excellent for auto body repair on trim, fiberglass parts, and molded bumpers. It also works well on ABS, PVC and CPVC pipe as well. When fully cured, it has a 350 PSI tensile strength.
