Beware of this Jabra bt 530 sold by ShopCell. It is not the full retail package and does not come with the USB charging cable nor does it come with the extra ear gels.

The ear gels allow you to use the headset without the ear hook which is great for short calls 5 - 10 min in length which is nice for those who don't want to look like a borg because you can keep the headset in your pocket and stick it in when the phone rings. I've found that on longer calls you'll want the earhook in.

The ability to play music from my blackberry curve works great at work as it's just in one ear, and to me it's like having background music. I don't even have to turn it off when a co-worker starts to talk to me.

All in all this is a nice headset thats worth the money. If you're looking for a comfortable headset that will reduce the background noise of the cube farm you work in, and play back ground music to mute them out when your off the phone, this headset will work for you. minimize

Great product! I have tried so many of the Bluetooth models on the current market and this is by far the best out there in my opinion.

I've tried both of the Jawbone versions and this one still beats them both hands down. I always had people to tell me that they could hear lots of echoing or background noise with the Jawbone models or my voice sounded far away.

People tell me that they cannot tell that I am on the Jabra Bluetooth and that it sounds like I am on the regular cell phone part.

The first Jawbone model was really huge in size and the second one was much smaller. The Jabra seems to be about the same size or maybe a little smaller than the second Jawbone.

Powering the Jabra on and off is very easy just by simply sliding the tiny power switch.

Battery life is really good. I have not had it to completly run out of power yet. It comes with a wall charger and a USB cable charger to charge it by connecting it to your computer's USB ports.

The only thing with the Jabra BT530 is the hook that fits over your ear sort of pushes the device away from your face so it sticks out a little. If it was designed to swivel just a little, it would provide a better fit to your face.

It does come with lots of tiny ear gels to give you a good fit inside your ear. There are also some specially designed ear gels that allow you to eliminate the ear hook that fits over your ear all together and have it to hold the Jabra in your ear just by the ear gel itself. It does not fall out of your ear that easily unless you happen to hit it just right whle putting on a hat or something like that.

I ordered it through Amazon's website. The order was shipped in a reasonble amount of time.

Again great product.

under normal, every day type calls, no problems.

things you should know, if your phone has mp3 player abilities, you can listen to them with it. it works from pretty far away too. i was at the other end of the house from the phone and walked outside and closed the sliding glass door. it still worked! until i stepped about a foot away. the sound is very clean and crisp. doesn't work as well going up, meaning...

i set the phone on my desk, walked about 12 or so feet away and up a standard flight of stairs. by the time i crossed the threshold at the top i lost signal.

it comes with a usb charger cord (very short) and an ac power cord. charge it for 2 hours before using it the first time. all the ear gels it comes with seem to be the same, so keep that in mind.

and yes, this is the same headset you see at cell phone stores for $99.99 and up. it's the black box with yellow clipart. minimize

Product arrived quickly, but not in OEM packaging nor with any additional ear holders. No warranty card or OEM manuals. Not 100% sure the product is new or OEM.
