JB Weld 8267-S SteelStik Epoxy Putty Stick
Even though we have a separate category for epoxy putties, I included one in this category as well. In many cases, your best bond for metal parts is going to come from an epoxy putty, not a liquid epoxy. Epoxy putties are especially useful when you need gap filling capability when you're joining pieces together in a "T" configuration or where you need to add reinforcement to existing metal parts. These tasks cannot be performed as well by a liquid epoxy so this particular epoxy putty is made specifically for use with metals and is steel reinforced for added strength. As a putty type epoxy, it is mixed with the hands, and then applied to the area needed. SteelStick gives you 3 to 5 minutes of working time and fully cures in 60 minutes with a tensile strength of 900 PSI. Once cured it can be drilled, tapped, machined and ground; as a nice little bonus this epoxy is also paintable.
