JBL is one of the dominant players in the PA and passive speaker market, so its no surprise to find not one but two of its products in the top three of our list. It's EON series features all-inclusive systems that integrate great amp technology, intuitive design, and of course, the speakers themselves. Looking solely at the EON monitors, it's clear that even alone they present the best value for the dollar and consequently shoot straight to the top. Great for studio, rehearsal, or live sound, the transient response and clear, transparent sound of the EON305 makes it a true competitor of more expensive powered studio monitors. Weighing in at only 33 pounds, the EON305 also features NL4 and 1/4" inputs, as well as a 1" neodymium compression driver.
