Joby GorillaTorch Flare 125 LED Flashlight with Strobe
This unconventional flashlight from the folks at Joby has three legs and six brightness modes. Unlike typical flashlights that come with a standard cylindrical body, the GorillaTorch is equipped with three flexible tripod legs that can twist and bend 360 degrees with the use of a couple dozen leg joints. Wrap them around a tree or position them on a flat surface to perch the light anywhere you need some illumination. Perfect for inside the tent or bent around a branch to use as a beacon for all parties to find their way back to the campsite, the GorillaTorch has six brightness modes, the highest of which is 125 lumens of light output with a cool white flood beam that can be seen from 27 meters away. Other settings at 55 and 12 lumens respectively offer up to 80 hours of runtime and there's even a strobe mode included, as well as a set of Red LED's that can shine constant or flash. The unit can survive a drop from two meters and is water resistant with an IP65 rating, which means it can handle splashing but not total submersion. So be careful at those campgrounds near rivers and lakes. All it needs is 3 AA batteries which are included with the flashlight.
