Why it's best:
It has most of the features of the top of the line LawnBott LB3500 (spiral cutting mode, modulated blade speed, rain sensor, upgradeable firmware, etc.) but is built for small lawns and is priced accordingly.
The LawnBott LB2150 is a lithium-battery version of the popular LawnBott LB2100, so it's lighter and can handle steeper slopes (up to 27 degrees) than its lead-acid LawnBott sibling.
Its main competitor is the popular Robomower RL1000, but the LawnBott LB2150 tops the Robomower in many ways. The LawnBott can handle bigger yards on a single charge and can recharge in three hours vs the Robomower's 20. It has a direct motor-to-wheel connection rather than plastic gearing. It's far narrower to get through tight spaces. It works on hills nearly twice as steep (27 degrees vs 15). And while both automatically return to their chargers, only the LawnBott's is covered and protected against weather. And it's considerably quieter, which means you can even use it at night without infuriating the neighbors. There's even an optional wireless remote control.
