It supports 802.11n Wi-Fi networking (also supports 802.11b/g) and Ethernet for wired connections, and provides access to Netflix, YouTube, and CinemaNow, so you’ll have plenty of online streaming content to keep you entertained. It decodes all the major audio soundtracks including Dolby TrueHD and DTS-HD Master Audio. Those with older receivers can still take advantage of these high-resolution soundtracks using the 7.1 analog inputs. The LG BD 390 has a USB drive that lets you view photos and playback music and video files. It supports a long list of file formats including AVI, DiVX-HD, MKV, WMA, XVID, MP3, JPEG, and PNG. You can also stream files off of a networked PC and the player is equipped with 1GB onboard memory. I have to say that I'm impressed with this unit. The wait times are not too bad at all, and as others have said, the picture quality is excellent. Standard DVD upconversion is excellent. There are a few minor issues that I've found, which I'll get to.
