LG Rumor from Kajeet
Why it's best:
Kajeet is a unique cell phone provider created specifically for children. They require no contract, activation fees or termination fees and offer a ton of parental control features. This provider is the best way to give your kids a more advanced phone while still having the perks of all the control aspects. The best phone offered by this kid-friendly provider is the LG Rumor with a full QWERTY keyboard, built in MP3 player and 1.3 megapixel camera. This phone is by far the most advanced when it comes to features in kid friendly phones, but all of them can easily be monitored by the parents. Some controls include a GPS Phone Locator, a ContactManager feature that allows the parent to control which calls and texts are accepted, a TimeManager feature that controls the time of day kids can use their phone and more. Although supplies are limited, there are very few drawbacks to this phone. It is the perfect compromise between kids and their parents.
Manufacturer Description: Limited supplies of this hot color are available! QWERTY keyboard with MP3 player your kids will love! Easy parental controls that allow you to set up when and how it is used - allowances, timeblocks and GPS enabled.

We purchased an LG phone for our 14 year old son about 6 months ago. We have had no problems with the phone or the service. I would highly recommend for anyone considering a phone for their child. The parantel controls are fantastic.
