Why it's best:
Logitech's Z-5500 is the perfect 5.1 sound system for your PC. It's powerful, THX-certified, and sounds great. It's ideal for playing games, watching movies, and listening to music. The control unit is designed to resemble an audio receiver, making the system an alternative to more expensive home theater systems. Hook it up to your PC, TV, set-top box, video game system, or MP3 player and you'll be amazed that such top-quality sound is so affordable. The Z-5500 does require some setup and wiring, but it's the best PC speaker system for the price.

Not only do you get four sleek 62W satellites, a 69W center speaker, and a booming 188W sub, but also a control pod with remote that blends in with the rest of the package. The Z-5500 is a performer -- not only is it THX-Certified, but it decodes Dolby Digital, DTS,...read full description
