Medela Calma Breastmilk Feeding Bottle
Evidence-based research regarding babies’ natural feeding behaviors from lactation consultants was used to design the Medela Calma Bottle. The milk will only flow from the slow-flow nipple when your baby suckles and creates a vacuum to remove the milk, just like the breast. The design of the nipple allows baby to suckle, swallow and breathe in a natural rhythm to allow them the opportunity to enjoy a relaxed feeding. Since your baby has to use the same technique to remove the milk from this bottle as they would from the breast, nipple confusion is eliminated and the transition between breast and bottle is easier. Since baby will take in less air because of the natural sucking motion needed to drink from this bottle, less air will be ingested, which means less gas. This bottle is also made from BPA-free materials.
