This edition of the C has finally found that magic elixir where its ride and handling are near perfect. It is no BMW 3-series on twisty asphalt but it also has a better ride. A perfect blend of the two that is probably a huge part of the reason this car has been so successful.
While there is a more expensive and larger engined C350 available that model doesn’t even have the power to compete with the BMW 135i. It is far wiser to enjoy the lazy torque and oh-so Mercedes like push from the 228 horsepower C300 engine. That way you can spend all that money you saved on the engine on the deep, wide and (if you are not careful) calamitously expensive C-class options list.
