Why it's a best pick:
This radio runs off of Milwaukee 18-28 volt batteries either NiCad or Li-Ion, or plugged in. Has pass through on cord. Radio with presets, clock, and NOAA Weather Alert. It has 12 volt port for cellphone charging. It does NOT charge the Milwaukee batteries that it runs on when you run it on standard current. It has NO Built in Charger. So you have to purchase a battery & charger combination to make it cordless.
This unit is praised by reviewers for the volume produced by the Rockford Fosgate 44 watt sound with 3 stage EQ bass boost. It also accepts input from a iPod or CD or Mp3 player. This unit weighs 22 pounds Milwaukee also has a new smaller lighter model the M12.
