Why it's a best pick:
If you have a need for 3-D television viewing on a much bigger scale, the latest model from Mitsubishi, the WD-73737, has a display range of 73 inches has just what you are looking for. This HDTV is DLP-driven that makes for excellent and accurate color adjustments, has a very thin frame that makes the screen look even larger than it actually is and features video noise reduction, meaning that you should never experience any video pixelation whatsoever. Some of the other features worth mentioning on this colossus of an HDTV is the implementation of Mitsubishi’s “Deep field imaging” which results in automatic adjustments made to the television’s contrast and brightness controls, a PerfectColor function that adjusts for the best color saturation levels during video playback and a 120hz “smooth out” option that basically improves a television program’s overall video quality by making automatic enhancements to the image itself.
Sure, at a retail price of $2200, the WD-73737 is one of the pricier 3-D ready HDTV units on this list, but when you take a good look at the enormous 73-inch TV screen and start watching 3-D movies on it, this TV will pull you into it’s world like no other TV possibly could.

Recieved 5 StarsFantastic Buy, July 6, 2009

I'm lazy, so this will be short.

The picture is amazing on HD! I have DirecTV with HD and am just blown away. SD channels are fine, but when stretched are noticeably 'fuzzy'. This is not a TV issue though, I've seen the same on my 42" HD. It just becomes much more apparent at 73". I like the different adjustments for each input,...read full review

Recieved 5 StarsGreat TV, August 18, 2009

This TV is great. I was looking at LCD and DLP TVs, and the DLP offer bigger screens and the same great picture at a lower price. HDTV, Blu-Ray, DVD, etc all look great on this TV. 1080p resolution is amazing, I have an older 52 inch HDTV, which displays 1080i and this DLP looks 10 times better.

Out of the box, this DLP is very...read full review

Recieved 5 Stars73" 737 series, July 20, 2009

Just bought a 73" 737series a couple of weeks ago. Was considering 65" but went with the 73" - GREAT Decision. The picture is fantastic - even my wife who isn't into TV very much thinks it is great. The price of the replacement lamp is not significant every 2 - 3 years when you consider the quality and price of this TV. If you have the room for...read full review

Recieved 5 StarsMitsubishi 73 inch HDTV, July 9, 2009

More than I expected. Hooked up very easy. Picture quality is outstanding. Has three HDMI inputs for components, although I am connecting through a Yamaha RX-V765 A/V receiver. I also have Dish TV DVR, Blu Ray and DVD recorder connected to the Yamaha with one HDMI output to the TV. Works great! Better than going to the theatre.

I was going to buy a Mitsubishi 52" with the sound bar but discovered this cost less. Easy install. Great picture and everyone that comes over says the same thing "WOW!" I'm very pleased with my purchase.
