Performing dips with body weight is a great exercise to work your triceps and chest. At some point, lifters get to a fitness level where body weight just doesn’t cut it. Dip belts are an important part of a serious weight lifters arsenal. They can add some impressive weight to dips and squats while simultaneously offering support. While all dip belts offer the same type of function there are subtle differences that separate some belts from others. When you are in the middle of an intense workout you are more focused on your workout than the type of belt you are wearing. That being said, you want to know that the belt you have on is reliable.
