Best Bass Guitar Preamp

A preamplifier shapes and processes the signal before it’s amplified. That could include anything from a simple tone and volume configuration to a multi-band active EQ with compression, voicing filters and effects. For the working bass player, a preamp can either augment a self-contained amp head, or can be part of a rack system with a power amp.
