Plustek OpticFilm 120 Film & Slide Scanner
Here’s a great choice for some professional film scanning or high-end hobby work where you want some of the best results possible. It has a maximum optical input resolution of 10,600 dpi, which is fantastic, but the output resolution is only 5300 dpi. While that is still excellent, and far better than what you will get using a flatbed scanner with an adapter or film holder, just keep the difference between input and output in mind when looking at this model.
This scanner offers 48-bit color depth and has an infrared scanner that helps identify dust and scratches on film while scanning, which makes it easier to get a clearly scanned image every time. This is a great choice for 35mm film and slides, as well as 120/200mm film and larger images. It can’t quite match the level of performance offered by something like the Hasselblad Flextight X5, but it’s also far less expensive.
