The Prolimatech Megahalems is a phenomenally efficient air-cooled CPU heat sink fan designed by former Thermalright engineers. Offering top-notch thermal cooling performance, it achieved temperatures of 25.4C below that of the stock Intel LGA1366 HSF on similarly clocked processors according to BenchmarkReviews.com's testing. It’s priced on par with many other HSFs in this performance range. The Megahalems comes with a polished CPU contact plate and very secure CPU mountings, six heat pipes, and a massive cooling fin superstructure to ensure it makes full use of the CPU's heatspreader to maximize thermal performance. Its combination of great efficiency, reasonable price, and support for LGA775 and LGA1366 sockets makes the Megahalems a top-notch cooler for any overclocking enthusiast.

The only real negative in the design is the lack of any included fan, though for most buyers, this shouldn't be much of an issue as spare 120mm fans are easy to come by. For passive operation, which many quiet computer users would rely on, the Megahalems performs admirably, achieving quiet computing bliss.
