Our newly designed CMOS sensor captures significantly more light than previous image sensors, enabling much improved performance in low light. So flip open the monitor and unleash the movie-maker within. The Xacti HD1000 captures the moment forever with high-sensitivity 4-megapixel still images at up to ISO 3200. But just because you want to take a still image doesn't mean you have to stop recording a movie - you can do both at the same time with a simple button press.
