We bought a pair of large cosmolite cases three years ago. We had been very pleased with them since they are very light and manouvrable. However the zipper has recently started to open by itself whilst we have been travelling abroad. The costs and hastle entailed by getting them repaired although supposedly under garantie are relatively high especially considering that the suitcase in question has only been used 6 or 7 times. In short, they are far from indestructible, are overpriced for this level of durability and we would not recommend them.

We bought three of the above suitcases, two have been used once. The rubber zip protection when handled at airports rolls back all round the suitcase and stays in that position until it is pulled back manually when you get the suitcase back off the carousel. Thus leaving the zip exposed to damage etc. We are very very disappointed with these suitcases.
