  While it’s technically an LCD monitor, the Samsung T220HD doubles as an excellent HDTV, offering great image quality and a built-in digital tuner for receiving HDTV channels over-the-air (OTA). This monitor is packed with 2 HDMI ports, a cable-in connection, 1 component input, a DVI input, and a VGA input. This will allow you to hook up a PC, antenna, cable or satellite box, and gaming console such as Xbox 360 or PS3. Sound quality from the 2-channel speakers is decent, but there’s an optical out (SPDIF) connection for connecting to a higher quality speaker system. This TV’s attractive and lightweight cabinet will fit nicely on any desk or into any entertainment center. There are some downsides – most notably, the T220HD does not support PIP and cannot be wall-mounted.   The Samsung is a more typical standard gamut panel with a decent color setup and good response time.  It has a nice menu interface and a good overall package, although lacks a USB hub like the LG.  It has a more standard TN panel so you can expect narrower viewing angles and lower detail.  It's a great choice for office use due to the anti-glare panel, and it also works great for gaming.  Surprisingly, it lacks VESA mount support.  But with its low price and beautiful aesthetics, this blunder is forgivable....read less
