Why it's best:
Priced competitively and packing true dual display ports within its small bracket (DVI and HDMI), the Sapphire HD 4650 offers SFF gaming performance as well as consideration for those who intend on using their SFF builds as HTPCs connected directly to an HDTV. With a 55nm RV750 GPU, the HD 4650 is well-known for its power efficiency, and this is shown through the Sapphire HD 4650's lack of PCI-e power connectors; the video card is solely powered through the 100W maximum that PCI-e 16x offers. Of course, this does not mean that the HD 4650 does not use 100W, merely that it can safely operate at load at under 100W, leading to its reputation as a power sipper. Though the Sapphire HD 4650 has 512MB of GDDR2 memory, it may be somewhat bottlenecked by its 128-bit memory bus, though for gaming at 1080p, games other than the very top-end such as Crysis should do fine. An ideal low profile video card, the HD 4650 comes highly recommended due to its competitive price, power efficiency, and choice of inputs within its small frame.

It has doubled and in some cases tripled fps in graphic intensive games. And the best is yet to come. The optional...read full review
