Why it's a best pick:
Though Spector does pretty well with their Asian and European imports, they still offer a few homegrown basses and, believe it or not, this is one of the less expensive models. What really stands out about the NS-5HS-EX is the combination of an Aguilar EQ with noiseless EMG pickups; the pickups also have a single/double-coil option, extending an already broad sound spectrum. The woods and hardware are a balance of bright and dark tones, while the Buckeye top gives this bass a distinctly exotic look. Includes a limited lifetime warranty. Street price: $2999.

String - 5 string
If you have not tried or played this bass, I would encourage you get and buy asap.
This Spector bass is a KILLER. Well proportioned. Extraordinary well built. Beautiful and Gergous Top. Very Light to handle. Neck is AWSOME.!!! It feels like a 4 string bass. But most importantly, the match of using Aguilar OBP 3 3 band with this wood is exceedingly magnificant.
Bass players out there, YOU HAVE TO PLAY THIS BASS.
Most of all, the price is unique and affordable on today's economy.
You will be disappointed with this bass.
