Why it's a best pick:
The Thermalright Ultra-120 eXtreme is a regular fan favorite thanks to its terrific performance and effective-yet-simple no-frills design. The Ultra-120 eXtreme improves upon Thermalright's older Ultra-120 design by adding an additional two heatpipes (for a total of six) and a slightly altered, yet meaningful spread heat pipe configuration within the cooling fins, allowing for greater airflow. Some may find the mounting mechanisms for the cooler somewhat troublesome, but rest assured, once the cooler is on the CPU and paired with a good 120mm fan to minimize noise output, you’ll be more than satisfied with its simple design and great thermal efficiency.

Manufacturer Description: Quiet and powerful cooling due to multiple heat pipes and large aluminum fin area. Proprietary bent winglet design to minimize airflow resistance. Heat pipes soldered to base (nickel plated)and fins for optimum heat transfer. Include both bolt-thru-board retention brackets for Intel and AMD.

I was able to push my CPU ...read full review

This heatsink is available everywhere for around $60-$65. You could buy three of them for what Amazon is charging.
