Trek Session 8 Park 26

Expert Review

Trek's Session lineup is like a beauty pageant where all the contestants look great and their runway happens to be a steep, gnarly trail plummeting down the side of a mountain. Not aimed for crazy fast races against the clock, the Session 8 is a nimble, twitchy machine bred for big air and fun. 26 inch wheels and a shorter rear end make this bike easier to throw into a turn or huck a killer jump than its race-designed brethren. There’s also the exclusive Mino Link feature which allows easy head tube angle tuning for trail-specific performance. Kitted with DT Swiss, Boxxer, and RockShox, the Park is loaded for fun right out of the box, and adept at bombing a hill or strutting a freeride trail. The aluminum model is affordable but if you crave carbon and can spare the extra coin, Trek has you covered with the Park 9.8.Rating: 4.75/5
