Renee Fabian has been an active performer and educator in the field of music since 2004. As a professional musician, Renee gave over 150 solo performances at Senior Centers, as well as other solo and ensemble performances on saxophone, flute and clarinet. In addition, Renee taught private music lessons on saxophone, flute, clarinet and piano, and served as the Music Supervisor and a music instructor for Springboard After School's music program in the Washington D.C./Maryland area. Renee holds a Bachelor of Music in Saxophone Performance with minors in flute and clarinet from West Chester University of Pennsylvania. Switching gears slightly to focus on writing about music, the arts and entertainment, Renee is currently finishing a Master's Degree in Specialized Journalism - The Arts at the University of Southern California in Los Angeles, CA. As a writer, Renee regularly contributes to Music & More, several arts and entertainments blogs--such as "Versus the Fans" and "Melinda Fabian - Illustrator"--and has articles published at Music and Sound Retailer, GLAAD, Neon Tommy, and Simply Senia.
